How to speed computer, making Windows 7 run faster?

Operation method: In the “Search Programs and files” in start menu, we enter “Regedit”, and then find “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEM” IN “Registry Editor”. After that, find “Control” under “CurrentControlSet” and right click “Wait to Kill Service Timeout” to decrease the value. By this way, we can decrease shut-down time.

4.  Close searching list feature: if you are not a forgettable man, and you are clear about where your files are, the searching list feature is almost no use for you and it occupies your precious system resource. Therefore, it is a good choice to close it.

Operation method: Find “Search Programs and files” in start menu, and then enter “services.msc” to find “Windows Search” function, and right click the mouse. After that, choose “Disable” to close the function.

5.     Reasonably partition Windows 7 disk: This point is very important. As everybody knows, if you want to speed up a computer, we must ensure enough space for system partition. Since Windows 7 is a piece of new operating system, when we install it, we can’t perfectly make partition distribution. Therefore, we can reasonably adjust system partition according to the real situation.

Operation method: It is not impossible to use Windows 7 built-in tool to reasonably adjust system partition space, so we need to download a piece of excellent disk management software such as MiniTool Partition Wizard. And then optimize the system partition space to speed up Windows 7.
